I completed all of the assigned tasks:

I read the assigned articles, readings; viewed the assigned videos and worked on Screenr, a Web 2.0 tool, Tool 3.

I also shared content within the Google Docs Mystery Share; as well as a graphic that led to an interesting twist in the shared storyline.

While I will admit I thought this was a bit juvenile to begin with; I was pleasantly surprised at how the story progressed.

I laughed and have enjoyed the outcomes so far!!

I had previously shared, posted, and worked collaboratively with others, as well as students within Google Drive & Google Documents.

In reflecting on chapter 6 of the textbook,  the author, Lynell Burmark stresses the importance of getting your audience attention in order to deliver an effective presentation.

The "Harnessing humor" chapter delves into jokes, elements of surprise, breaks within the delivery and methods of delivering content in an effective manner.

She explains in depth how these elements are necessary to get the information or point across and provides numerous examples and activities to practice.

She utilizes factual research to explain how humor can be beneficial to your audience. Burmark also includes photos, and information on where to find humorous additions to any presentation.
