     #1)     A Professional Learning Community or “PLC” is a combination of individuals with an interest in education that are attempting to achieve a common goal and objective

                created through collaboration utilizing a systematic process.

 

     #2)     In an example of an effective and efficient PLC, educators are given appropriate time to understand and properly implement solutions within a solid PLC. 

     

     #3)     Research refers to the reflective dialogue of these communities as inquiry. Inquiry has key components which guide the collective in order to learn from the dialogue.

 

     #4)     Educators should share the same vision which is supporting students’ learning to use as a reference point to know what they are working towards.

 

     #5)     Key tools for this process include: shared vision, shared personal practice, and supportive physical, temporal, and social conditions.
